TRAILER TRUCK DRIVER

Job Summary

Drive and operate trucks to deliver goods on schedule, ensuring vehicle safety through daily checks and timely reporting of defects. Submit required documentation and support additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate trucks to deliver goods and cargo to clients on time, meeting delivery schedules
• Perform daily pre-operation vehicle checks to confirm safe working condition
• Identify and report vehicle or equipment defects and malfunctions immediately to maintain safety
• Submit trip commission forms to the supervisor promptly for accurate record-keeping
• Support the supervisor by completing additional ad hoc duties or tasks as assigned

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid class 4 driving license to operate trucks safely and legally
• Demonstrate relevant driving experience to ensure competent vehicle operation

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Familiarity with Singapore roads to navigate efficiently and meet delivery deadlines
• Preferably 1 year of experience driving prime movers or trailer trucks to enhance operational effectiveness
