Job Description
You will be responsible for ensuring the prompt delivery and pickup of containers and cargo, operating container trucking at PSA and Tuas Ports, managing empty container returns, maintaining corporate assets, and adhering to safety standards to support effective transport operations.
Responsibilities
- Complete all daily deliveries and collections of containers on time.
- Provide container hauling services into and out of PSA and Tuas ports.
- Collect empty containers and return them to the various depot yards.
- To avoid damage and accidents, handle trailers for mounting and offloading containers carefully.
- Keep company assets including vehicles, trailers, and tyres in good functioning order.
- To guarantee safe transportation, securely fasten containers and cargo to trucks.
- Adhere to all statutory and company safety and health policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Adapt to extra duties and responsibilities as given to meet operational needs.
- Accept and manage overtime work as necessary to fulfill operational demands.
