Design review and manage for the geotechnical works such as ERSS, piling, ground improvement, slope, etc.
Interpretation of soil profile and assessment of toe level of ERSS works.
Feasibility and optioneering study (in-house engineering) for geotechnical works.
Interpretation of Instrumentation & Monitoring (IM) and liaise with consultant team to resolve IM matters.
Attend regular and ad-hoc meeting and co-ordination with clients, authorities, QPS, and consultants.
Construction support (preparing and reviewing shop drawing for geotechnical works, close cooperation with site team)
Support relevant authority approval (LTA, DBC, PUBetc.) in area of geotechnical works and impact assessment.
Support LTA Project Safety Review (PSR, CDSS and CNSS)
Support pile test (ultimate and working load test)
Support pumping test.
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience as a traffic/highway engineer
Working knowledge of International/Singapore highway design standards
Knowledge of CDC (Civil Design Criteria) for road design and application in order to suggest an alternative alignment considering longitudinal, cross section and horizontal alignment
Knowledge of BCA/LTA and other Authority requirements and approval process in Singapore
Knowledge of LTA/ PUB construction sequence
