Job Summary
We are seeking an .Net Developer for a banking client in Singapore. The role focuses on developing and evolving a Data Framework platform that centralizes trade, RFQ, collateral, and market data for regulatory reporting and downstream consumption.
Mandatory Skill-set
- 35 years of experience as a .NET Developer in financial services or capital markets;
- Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core and related frameworks;
- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, database design, and performance tuning;
- Understanding of trade booking systems, financial instruments, and trade lifecycle concepts;
- Experience integrating with APIs or messaging systems such as MQ, Kafka, FIX;
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and SDLC best practices;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
- Experience using Jira or other issue tracking tools.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience working with large-scale, high-performance SQL Server databases;
- Knowledge of market data ingestion, distribution frameworks, and data dictionaries;
- Understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks such as MIFID 2, SFTR, MAR;
- Participation in technical communities or staying updated on market/technology trends;
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with distributed international teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business analysts, traders, and operations teams to gather requirements and deliver trading solutions;
- Implement and optimize trade capture, validation, and enrichment workflows;
- Integrate systems with upstream/downstream applications via APIs, messaging protocols, or FIX;
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and accuracy of trade booking and market data processes;
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues related to trade lifecycle events;
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to system architecture improvements;
- Maintain technical documentation and support user training as required;
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and contribute to continuous delivery and system improvement.
