Trading System Engineer - Digital Assets & DeFi

About the client:

Our client, a proprietary trading firm at the cutting edge of decentralized finance that builds high-performance systems and providing liquidity across leading blockchains and protocols is looking for an exceptional trading system engineer. If you have strong exposure in low-latency trading systems, and looking to shape the future of digital asset trading, we want to hear from you.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and optimize low-latency trading systems for both centralized and on-chain markets
• Develop core infrastructure for execution, order management, and real-time data
• Collaborate with traders and quants to turn strategies into production-ready systems
• Ensure ultra-fast performance, reliability, and scalability in a high-pressure environment

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 7 solid years experience in building low-latency systems for trading. Prior prop exposure or HFT experience will be highly regarded
• You should ideally be proficient in Rust and Python, or be open to picking up Rust
• Strong knowledge of crypto markets, blockchain mechanics, and exchange APIs is crucial to the success of this role
• Passion for crypto trading, DeFi, and market structure
