Trading Operator

We are looking for a Trading Operator to join an oil & gas trading company. The role involves managing the operational execution of physical oil cargoes, working closely with traders and internal teams to ensure smooth execution from deal confirmation through to final delivery.

What you will be doing:

• Manage cargo operations from deal recap through loading, voyage execution and discharge
• Prepare and manage contracts, Letters of Credit, Bills of Lading and other shipping documentation
• Coordinate with agents, insurers, terminals, counterparties and internal teams
• Monitor laytime and manage demurrage matters
• Maintain accurate operational information in the trading system
• Resolve operational issues and support back-to-back trades

What we are looking for:

• Degree in a relevant discipline with 5 years of oil & gas trading operations experience
• Hands-on experience managing physical oil cargo operations
• Strong knowledge of shipping and trade-finance documentation
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced trading environment
