Trading Operations Assistant

The LNG Trading Operations Assistant supports day-to-day LNG trading operations, including trade/shipping documentation, SAP(ERP) processing for billing and transaction records, and coordination of settlements and daily funding with banks and Korea HQ. The role works closely with traders and counterparties to track contracts and shipments, maintain daily/monthly trading records and basic P&L tracking, and provide meeting minutes and research support as needed.

[Job Description / Key Responsibilities]

- Support day-to-day LNG trading operations and post-trade processes.

- Prepare and maintain trading and shipping documentation and ensure proper filing.

- Process letters of credit (LC) and other trade finance documentation and coordinate with banks, counterparties, and internal stakeholders(HQ).

- Create billing/invoicing and SAP (ERP) entries aligned with contract terms and supporting documents.

- Coordinate settlement and daily funding arrangements with banks and Korea HQ via SAP.

- Support contract administration (key dates, delivery windows) and cross-functional coordination.

- Conduct research on new products, customers/suppliers, and business opportunities within the energy/LNG sector.

- Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on action items handle ad-hoc tasks and multi-tasking.

Qualifications

- Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

- Good command of written and spoken English.

- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and coordination skills with a proactive, positive attitude.
