Role Summary:

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commodity tradingand market analysis.The intern will work closely with tradersto monitor global commodity markets, analyze price movements, and support trade execution. Through data-driven insights and real-time market tracking, the intern will contribute to identifying trading opportunities and optimizing strategies. The ideal candidate is a clear communicator and self-starter who demonstrates great ability to work both independently and within a team setting, especially while attempting to solve challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough research and analysis on assigned commodities, including gathering market data, tracking trends, and assessing supply and demand dynamics.

Assist traders in developing and executing hedging strategies for commodity futures and financial derivatives.

Assist traders in physical/paper trading activities.

Collaborate with teamto generate comprehensive reports and insights, contributing to informed decision-making processes.

Uphold the company&aposs reputation through ethical and transparent dealings with customers and suppliers.

Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic trading environment.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.

Strong logical thinking, language and writing abilities, excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Demonstrated practicality, diligence, and self-motivation; capable of making quick decisions under pressure.

Fluent in English and Chinese to facilitate communication with stakeholders in China.

Interest in global commodity markets.

Willing to learn with a proactive attitude.
