TRADER

Position: Trader (Non-Ferrous Metals)

Responsibilities

. Develop and execute physical trading strategies for non-ferrous metals, including but not limited to aluminium, copper, zinc, and nickel.

. Build and maintain strong relationships with counterparties, including producers, smelters, processors, traders, end-users, logistics providers, and relevant financial institutions.

. Conduct market analysis and identify trading opportunities based on supply-demand fundamentals, arbitrage opportunities, pricing trends, spreads, and regional trade flows.

. Work closely with internal teams including operations, logistics, finance, and risk management to ensure smooth trade execution and settlement.

. Monitor and manage trading exposure, P&L, and overall trading book performance in accordance with the company's risk management policies and limits.

Requirements

. Minimum 5 years of experience in the non-ferrous metals trading industry, with solid physical trading experience.

. Good understanding of commodities trading regulations, contracts, and compliance requirements.

. Strong analytical, negotiation, and execution skills with sound commercial judgement.

. Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese, to liaise effectively with Chinese and international counterparties.
