Perform jet fuel supply and trading activities within delegated authorities to maximize P&L, including but not limited to: 1) Physical jet fuel trading 2) Jet fuel derivatives and hedging activities.
Execute derivatives trading and hedging strategies, manage price exposure, and optimize both jet fuel trading book performance and enterprise value. Formulate and implement short, medium, and long-term strategies across physical and derivatives markets.
Collaborate with global jet fuel trading teams to align regional activities with subsidiaries in the US and Europe, and drive cross-regional arbitrage opportunities. Ideal candidates will have experience in jet fuel or refined product arbitrage trading.
Undertake other assignments as required, including trading-related project support and business travel.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 3 years of trading experience (physical and derivatives) in the jet fuel market, with strong understanding of regional and arbitrage flows, market fundamentals, risk management, and operations/logistics.
Hands-on, execution-driven mindset with ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and adapt quickly to changes.
Strong ethics, professionalism, sense of responsibility, and team spirit.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, ability to handle multiple priorities, and good stress tolerance.
Effective bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin, as the role requires frequent verbal and written communication with English- and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
