What youll do:
As a Trade Reporting Associate, you will play an integral role in ensuring the seamless execution of regulatory reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions. Your day-to-day activities will involve close coordination with various departments to ensure accurate submission of data for Over-the-Counter Derivatives transactions. You will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date documentation of operational processes while proactively identifying areas for process enhancement. By preparing regular status updates on remediation efforts and escalating potential issues promptly, you will help safeguard the organisations reputation for compliance excellence. Your involvement in system upgrades, audit support, and cross-team collaboration will provide you with valuable exposure to both operational best practices and strategic project work. Success in this position requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a genuine interest in driving continuous improvement within a supportive team environment.
What you bring:
To excel as a Trade Reporting Associate, you will bring proven experience from similar roles within banking or financial services operationsparticularly those involving regulatory transaction reporting. Your background should include hands-on familiarity with MAS/HKMA frameworks as well as practical exposure to OTC derivative products. You will demonstrate not only technical competence but also strong interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in collaborative settings. Your ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining rigorous standards of accuracy sets you apart. A keen interest in leveraging technology for process improvementswhether through advanced Excel functions or programming languages like VBA or Pythonwill be highly valued.
