The Role:
To execute and coordinate daily pricing activities, deadfreight administration, BSA allotment, and commercial processes to support trade performance, optimise utilisation, and drive revenue growth.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Pricing Management
- Prepare quotations in accordance with approved pricing guidelines.
- Support daily pricing enquiries from Sales.
2. BSA Planning & Capacity Management
- Provide BSA adjustment before commencement of each cycle.
- Coordinate with LMD and local offices to optimise utilisation.
3. Deadfreight (DF) Administration
- Administer Deadfreight (DF) contracts, BAF updates, billing, filing, and invoice tracking.
4. System & Record Management
- Maintain accurate system records, including rates, contracts, allocations, and amendments.
5. Trade Monitoring & Compliance
- Monitor CRR/SRR filings, pre-loading payments, and booking status.
- Ensure compliance with Trade SOPs and internal pricing policies.
6. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on pricing, DF performance, space utilisation, and commercial activities.
7. Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with Sales, LMD, Finance, and local offices to ensure smooth execution of commercial processes.
8. Projects & Process Improvement
- Support ad-hoc commercial projects and process improvements.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, or a relatedfield in shipping profession is an added- advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in shipping orrelated industry.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Candidate should be equipped with adequate numeracy skills.
- Candidate must be meticulous with details, multi-tasking, possess a positive learning attitude, and be able to cope with the fast-paced working environment.
- Proficient in MS Word & Excel.
- Advantageous to have knowledge and skillset on AI tools to assist daily job.
