A shipping company is seeking a Trade Operations Executive as part of their expansion plans.

Your new role

• Support the execution of chemical trading transactions and follow up on daily operational matters.
• Coordinate with Traders, customers, suppliers and other parties on shipments and deliveries.
• Monitor shipment schedules, cargo movements and delivery status.
• Prepare, check and maintain trade and shipping documents, including contracts, invoices, Bills of Lading and certificates.
• Assist with L/C documentation, payment follow-up and other trade finance matters.
• Maintain accurate trade records and update relevant information in internal systems.
• Follow up on outstanding documents, payments and other operational matters.
• Maintain proper filing of trade and company documents and assist with basic office administration.
• Prepare and update Excel spreadsheets, reports and other records.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.

What you'll need to succeed

A responsible and detail-oriented Junior Trade Operations Executive to support the daily operations of our chemical trading business. The role will work closely with traders, customers/suppliers, finance and other parties to ensure smooth execution of trades and timely completion of documentation and administrative tasks.
Previous experience in trade operations, shipping, logistics or chemical trading is preferred but not essential.
