Trade Operations Executive (Dry Bulk)

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end sugar shipments (container or bulk).

• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, surveyors, and warehouses.

• Prepare and handle shipping documents: B/L, invoices, COO, certificates, LC documentation.

• Ensure contract terms, Incoterms, and GAFTA/FOSFA requirements are met.

• Track shipment status, resolve operational issues, and manage updates to traders.

• Support demurrage calculations, claims, and compliance.

• Work with finance on invoices, payments, LC processing, and cost reconciliation.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.

• 2-5 years of commodity or shipping operations experience (soft commodities preferred).

• Knowledge of LC documents, shipping procedures, and Incoterms.

• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Excel experience with trading/ERP systems is a plus.
