Job Description

Job Overview:
We are looking for a driven and execution-focused Trade Marketing Executive to support end-to-end FMCG marketing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on trade marketing, retail execution, and brand visibility at point-of-sale. This role supports 360 marketing activities including digital campaigns, retail activations, POSM development, vendor coordination, and promoter engagement. You will work closely with sales, merchandising, retail partners, and external vendors to ensure effective in-market execution that drives brand presence, shopper engagement, and sell-through.


Key Responsibilities:

FMCG Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Support the planning and execution of integrated FMCG marketing campaigns across digital, retail, Public Relations, and on-ground activations.

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and campaign alignment across consumer touchpoints, with strong focus on in-store execution.

  • Track campaign performance and in-market effectiveness, providing basic analysis and recommendations for improvement.

Trade Marketing, Partnerships & Vendor Management

  • Liaise with vendors and partners for FMCG collaborations, promotions, and marketing activations.

  • Coordinate with printing vendors on POSMs, wobblers, shelf talkers, and other retail marketing materials, ensuring quality, timelines, and cost efficiency.

  • Support coordination and execution of partnership deliverables aligned with commercial and brand objectives.

Retail Execution & POSM Management

  • Conceptualize and create designs for POSMs and in-store materials in line with FMCG brand guidelines and retail requirements.

  • Ensure timely rollout and replenishment of POSMs across retail outlets.

  • Work closely with sales and merchandising teams to ensure products are displayed prominently in-store.

  • Implement and support strategies to optimize shelf placement, planogram compliance, secondary displays, and signage to maximise brand visibility and shopper impact.

  • Conduct store checks where required to ensure execution standards are met.

Promoter Management & Product Training

  • Provide product knowledge training and selling techniques to in-house promoters to enhance sales conversion.

  • Equip promoters with key selling points, campaign mechanics, and POSM usage guidelines to ensure consistent brand representation.

  • Support promoter engagement during product launches, promotions, and retail activations.

Marketing Operations & Administration

  • Manage marketing administrative tasks including schedules, documentation, budget tracking, and inventory management of marketing collaterals.

  • Prepare marketing presentations, reports, and post-campaign summaries.

  • Support ad-hoc marketing and trade initiatives as assigned by Management.


Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 1 year of marketing experience, preferably in FMCG, retail, or trade marketing environments.

  • Strong understanding of retail execution, POSM, and on-ground marketing principles.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with basic reporting capabilities.

  • Able to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a balance of analytical thinking and practical execution skills.

  • Energetic, adaptable, and comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, promoters, and external vendors.

  • Good communication skills, proactive attitude, and willingness to learn.
