Primary Objective

As the intern within the Latin America (LATAM) department, you will immerse yourself into maritime logistics, gaining hands-on experience and developing both soft and hard skills in a dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with experienced professionals to understand vessel operations, pricing strategies, and market intelligence.
  • Support and assist the Asian network activities, including the analysis of vessel profiles and performance metrics. Assist with the processing of quotation requests and tender responses for various services and areas in Asia.
  • Contribute to competitive intelligence efforts by gathering market data, analyzing trends, and providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the CMA CGM network (Head office and agencies in Asia and Latin America) as well as customers.

Requirements:

  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent analytical abilities and familiarity with Office tools, especially Excel (including VLOOKUP and PivotTables).

  • Attributes:
  • Highly motivated and eager to learn quickly. Capable of working both independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and communication skills. Demonstrates team spirit, a customer-oriented approach, and the ability to adapt swiftly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
