Trade Finance Operations Analyst

Job Purpose & Objectives

At least 2 years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Loans (Syndicated or Bilateral)
• Trade Finance
• Guarantees
• Current Accounts & Remittances.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and control customers credit facility and limit usage.
• Check to customers credit facility documentation and ensure precedent conditions are met.
• Arrange funding for loans drawdown and rollover,
• Review and create customer records in Midas; ensuring accurate set-up and maintenance of customer-related parties e.g. directors, authorized signatories.
• Assist in preparation of local regulatory or internal reports.
• Download of Swift AMH messages.
• Review of transactions recorded in the system and reconciliations
• Follow-up unreconciled Nostro items with counterparties
• Ad-hoc tasks as may be required

Qualification & Experience

• 2 to 6 years hands-on experience in Loan Administration or Trade Finance in a banking environment.
• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Banking, Business Administration or International Trade or similar.

Knowledge & Skills

• Good knowledge and familiar with Singapore banking regulations and banking practices.
• PC skills – words & excel skills are essential.
• Loan Administration knowledge.
• UCP600 & ISBP knowledge would be preferred.

Language

• Fluent in written and spoken English. Ability to converse in Mandarin preferred.
