Job Summary
Operate tower cranes safely and efficiently at construction sites by following project schedules, performing risk assessments, assisting in setup, and reporting daily progress to supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Operate tower cranes according to the project schedule to ensure timely and safe lifting operations
- Perform risk assessments and conduct safety checks before crane operation to prevent accidents
- Assist in setting up tower cranes at construction sites to prepare for lifting tasks
- Present daily operation reports to the site supervisor to maintain clear communication and project tracking
- Ensure all loads comply with crane load limits to maintain safety and equipment integrity
- Follow safety regulations and procedures consistently to promote a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate crane operations
- Adapt to rotating shifts and work overtime as required to meet project demands
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess Tower Crane, Luffing Jib, Saddle Jib & PPVC certificates as proof of technical qualification
- Hold a valid crane operator licence issued by MOM to comply with regulatory requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant crane operating experience to demonstrate proficiency and safety awareness
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Good communication skill to facilitate clear and effective coordination among team members and supervisors
