Work closely with signal team to ensure compliance with the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislations, including the provisions of the WSH (Construction) Regulations and WSH (Operation of Cranes) Regulations in daily lifting operations.
Able to work from height to ascertain whether the ground conditions are safe for any lifting operations and report this to the lifting supervisor.
Conduct daily pre-operation checks and ensure equipments/components are in good and safe working condition.
Follow approved lifting plans and project's safety procedures at all times.
Coordinate closely with lifting supervisors and signalmen to perform lifts accurately.
Maintain proper records of crane operations and safety inspections.
Lifting of precast products or materials on sites.
Monitoring the load weights and stability of the crane.
Responsible for basic housekeeping and maintenance of tower crane.
Able to operate the crane in a safe manner under the clear signal from a signalman.
