This role provides a unique opportunity to support the Global Total Rewards strategy while gaining exposure to local market nuances. You will assist in the execution of compensation and benefits programs that align with our global philosophy, ensuring our packages remain competitive, compliant, and supportive of employee wellbeing.
Compensation & Global Initiative Support:
- Salary Survey Management: Assist in the end-to-end process of completing annual salary surveys
- Global Initiative Rollout: Work alongside Regional Total Rewards Partners to support the implementation of global projects or review of local programs or compensation structures
- Philosophical Alignment: Support the review of local pay practices to ensure they adhere to the Global Compensation Philosophy (e.g., pay-for-performance, market positioning).
Benefits Renewal & Wellness Support:
- Insurance Renewal Cycle: Support the team during the annual insurance renewal process by gathering headcount data and compiling claims history reports.
- Broker Coordination: Act as a liaison between external insurance brokers and Local People & Culture (HR) Partners to ensure smooth data exchange and plan design updates.
- Benefits Philosophy Review: Help audit local benefit offerings to ensure they align with the broader corporate benefits strategy and diversity/inclusion goals.
- Wellness Research: Conduct research on emerging wellness trends and mental health initiatives to propose enhancements to our current regional offerings.
Data & Project Coordination:
- Regional Collaboration: Shadow meetings with regional HR leads to understand how global policies are adapted for different cultural and economic environments.
- Reporting & Analytics: Consolidate benefits enrollment data and compensation metrics into standardized dashboards for regional leadership.
- Documentation: Help maintain the Global Benefits Library and Compensation Playbooks to ensure all regional partners have access to updated guidelines.
Ideal Candidate:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Finance, or a related field.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrates the maturity and discretion required to handle confidential employee salary and benefits information.
- Able to gather information from various sources and summarize findings clearly (useful for wellness research and labor law checks).
- Curiosity about working in a global environment and an interest in how work differs across various countries and regions.
- Strong attention to detail; someone who enjoys checking things twice to ensure accuracy.
