Key Responsibilities
- Automation Development: Create and maintain automated test scripts and reusable test step libraries using Tosca Commander and XScan.
- Test Case Design (TCD): Structure and design data-driven test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of business requirements.
- Execution & Analysis: Run automated test suites (locally or via distributed execution), analyze failures, and document defects in tools like Jira or qTest.
- Integration: Connect automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps to support continuous testing.
- Maintenance: Rescan and update existing modules when the application's UI or functionality changes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to define automation strategies and verify requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Tricentis Tosca (standard modules, XScan, TCD, and API testing).
- Certifications: Automation Specialist (AS) 1 & 2 and Test Design Specialist (TDS) 1 & 2 certifications.
- Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Foundational Knowledge: Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and basic SQL for database validation.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
