Job Description: Tosca Test Automation Engineer (57 Years Experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Tosca Test Automation Engineer with 57 years of handson experience in test automation, framework development, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca, ensuring high-quality delivery across complex enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Automation Development

• Design and develop endtoend automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
• Build and maintain reusable test automation frameworks and libraries.
• Automate functional, regression, and integration test scenarios.
• Maintain automation assets to support continuous regression cycles.

2. Test Planning & Execution

• Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to derive test scenarios.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects.
• Support manual testing efforts where required (smoke/sanity tests).

3. CI/CD & Integration

• Integrate Tosca automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitLab CI).
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable automated execution and reporting.

4. Defect Management & Quality Governance

• Log defects with detailed analysis and support triage discussions.
• Work closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders for defect resolution.
• Ensure adherence to testing standards, quality processes, and documentation best practices.

5. Collaboration & Support

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including development, business analysis, product owners, and release management.
• Provide knowledge sharing and mentoring to junior testers on Tosca best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• 57 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca.
• Proficiency in designing test cases using Tosca Modules, Test Sheets, Test Steps, ExecutionLists, and Requirements.
• Strong understanding of automation frameworks and test design principles.
• Experience with API testing using Tosca API Scan.
• Knowledge of SQL for test data validation.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Tricentis Tosca certifications (Automation Specialist 1 & 2, Test Architect).
• Experience in Web-based application testing.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, VBScript) is an advantage.
• Experience with performance testing or riskbased testing methodologies.
• Understanding of cloud-based testing environments and CI tools.
