Job Summary
You will assemble, troubleshoot, and maintain plastic molds, optimize molding processes for quality consistency, inspect mold components, and ensure timely tool assembly and debugging to support production goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and troubleshoot molding, dismantle and fabricate new plastics molds
- Attend Mold testing and perform molding process optimization to achieve part consistency quality.
- Perform mold repairs maintenance, troubleshoot molding problems and record.
- Inspect all mold components and work pieces
- Read and understanding of Product/ Interpret engineering drawings/ manufacturing process/ Knowledge of measurement.
- New Tool assembly and debug to ensure FA submission on time.
- Ensure cleanliness of work area and equipment.
Requirements:
- Diploma / NITEC in Precision Engineering or relevant
- Prior experience with mold setting and tooling design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A good team player, disciplined to work under minimal supervision.
- Able to operate different types of molding machines
- Able to start work immediately / short notice
