Tissue Culture Laboratory Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the propagation and handling of plant tissue cultures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the growth room and laboratory areas
• Perform plant screening and quality control checks
• Prepare culture media and stock solutions for daily production
• Dispense media solutions into growing vessels
• Operate automated media dispensing equipment
• Ensure proper organization of media and laboratory supplies
• Perform accurate data entry and record-keeping
• Support general production activities and other assigned tasks

Requirements

• Passion for working with plants and laboratory environments
• Able to work independently with a meticulous and responsible approach
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Commitment to Good Laboratory Practice (clean, tidy, and structured work habits)
• Self-driven and proactive mindset
