Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tile Setter to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces according to project specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled accurately
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary materials
- Cut tiles and shape them to fit around obstacles and into odd spaces
- Lay tiles in accordance with design plans and ensure proper alignment
- Apply grout and sealants to ensure durability and finish quality
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Follow workplace safety guidelines and regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tile Setter or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and layouts
- Good physical stamina and attention to detail
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, public holidays, or night shifts when required
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Class 3 Driving License (Singapore)
- CSOC (Construction Safety Orientation Course) certification
