TILE SETTER

Job Responsibilities:

• Install floor and wall tiles according to project specifications and drawings.
• Measure, mark and prepare surfaces before tile installation.
• Cut and shape tiles using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Apply tile adhesive, cement mortar and grout for proper installation.
• Ensure tiles are properly aligned, levelled and securely installed.
• Carry out tile finishing, grouting, edging and necessary repair works.
• Inspect completed tile works to ensure good workmanship and quality.
• Follow workplace safety requirements and maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other workers to meet project schedules.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant experience in tile installation or construction works.
• Able to read basic construction drawings and measurements.
• Familiar with tile cutting, laying, grouting and finishing.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to work at construction sites.
