Job Description

  • Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled according to layout plans
  • Cut tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, etc.) into required sizes using hand and power tools
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying underlayment or waterproofing materials
  • Mix and apply adhesives such as mortar, thin-set, or grout
  • Lay and align tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces with precision
  • Ensure proper spacing and alignment using levels and spacers
  • Fill gaps and finish joints with grout, then clean excess material
  • Repair or replace broken or damaged tiles
  • Follow design specifications, patterns, and blueprints
  • Inspect finished work to ensure quality and durability
  • Maintain tools and ensure a clean, safe work environment
  • Follow safety regulations and construction standards
