Job Summary

Join Alkanaah International Tours and Travel as a Ticketing & Reservation Executive to deliver exceptional customer service and manage comprehensive ticketing operations for Saudia Airlines, contributing to business growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer bookings and walk-in inquiries by overseeing the entire ticketing process to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
  • Process reservations, confirmations, amendments, cancellations, mileage redemptions, ticket issuance, schedule changes, re-bookings, and re-issuance efficiently to support seamless travel experiences
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from passengers, travel agents, corporate clients, and BSPs via phone and email to resolve issues and provide information
  • Update and maintain customer profiles and frequent flyer member accounts to ensure data accuracy and personalized service
  • Communicate current promotions and assist customers with programme materials and forms to enhance customer engagement and loyalty
  • Address customer feedback and complaints by coordinating with backend support teams to achieve timely resolution and improve service quality
  • Participate in strategic planning activities including needs analysis and budget input to support business objectives and operational improvements
  • Identify new business opportunities and sales leads during team meetings to contribute to revenue growth
  • Coordinate logistics for ticket handling and related events to ensure smooth operational flow
  • Stay informed on market trends, airline requirements, and industry developments to maintain competitive knowledge and compliance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement under the Quality Management System

Required competencies and certifications

Demonstrated proficiency in air ticketing and Global Distribution System (GDS), particularly Amadeus, to execute ticketing and reservation tasks accurately

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in reservations and ticketing with a strong understanding of airfares and airline systems to perform core responsibilities effectively

Ability to work independently, maintain patience, and perform effectively under pressure to manage high-volume customer interactions

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team and with customers

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Knowledge of the Sabre system to expand ticketing system capabilities and support diverse customer needs

Proficiency in Chinese language to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers and enhance service inclusivity
