Job Description

Brief Summary

Join our dynamic team to make a meaningful impact on diabetic foot care by assessing risk levels and educating patients. This role offers a chance to contribute to promoting health awareness while working in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Screen for risk factors associated with diabetic foot and determine the corresponding risk levels. Recognize diabetic foot conditions and refer patients for appropriate medical management. Provide education on diabetic foot care to patients and caregivers. Keep thorough documentation of diabetic foot screening results. Adhere to legal, ethical, and departmental policies, including good infection control practices. Participate in activities that raise awareness of podiatry.

Requirements

Higher Nitec with GCE N or O Level Credits in English, Mathematics, and Science WSQ Higher Certificate in Therapy Services is an advantage. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting. Willingness to travel to different work location and work on Saturdays. Strong service orientation with excellent listening and interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift reasonable loads and manage time effectively. Capacity to work well independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
