Parkinson Society Singapore is expanding, hence, looking for individuals who are keen to learn, develop and grow with us to join us.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct & record blood pressure measurement.
- Assist in setting up equipment.
- Assist the physiotherapists in assisting & supervising members in the performance of exercises.
- Monitor members during therapy sessions to ensure their safety and well-being.
- In this aspect of classes, you will be trained to run classes independently over time with new knowledge and skills. You will be the forefront in areas of renewed capabilities in this domain.
- Perform basic data entry and data retrieval.
- Creating, filing, and maintaining members database.
- Follow-up with members.
- Perform cleaning of equipment regularly or when required.
- Perform routine checks on equipment & assist in infection control.
- Any other duties assigned by physiotherapists.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE N or O levels.
- WSQ Certificate in Therapy Support or relevant healthcare certificate preferred.
- Has the heart to serve.
- A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in English and 1 other language (Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil). Ability to converse in local dialects will be an added advantage.
- Service-oriented and patient-focused.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft 365.
- Experience in caring for Persons with Parkinson or relevant years of experience would be an added advantage.
