Job Description

Kitchen Support Experts play an important role in support of several hotel functions. These associates may work across departments (e.g., kitchen, food and beverage, employee dining room) to support cleaning and basic kitchen preparation needs. Whether preparing fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests to enjoy, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dishwashing machines, hand wash stations), or transporting dishware across the hotel, these associates do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional maintain confidentiality of proprietary information protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Inspect and own responsibility for cleanliness and condition of glassware, silver and flatware
  • Set up and organize food and beverage presentations with the designated supplies and equipment, arrange and facilitates replacement of items in shortage
  • Maintains cleanliness of lounge, kitchen, pantry and storage area
  • Stocking and up keeping of glassware, silver and flat ware
  • Offer lateral service whenever possible to expedite processes in the work area
  • Complete job functions as assigned
  • Answer phones and handles simple guest request when Club Concierge cannot perform these duties
  • Assisting Club Concierge in transporting and organizing food and beverage items
  • Follow all company policies and procedures

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: No related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
