Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Accounts Assistant will support the daily financial transactions of the company, helping to facilitate efficient workflow in financial operations and accurate records for monthly closing and statutory compliance.

The working location at Tai Seng Exchange.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Data entry of invoices, payments, and receipts into accounting software and timely.

2. Maintain proper accounting records, documentation, and filing.

3. Assist to manage vendor invoices, payments, petty cash, and debtor follow-ups.

4. Assist to perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.

5. Assist in month-end and year-end closing, preparing schedules such as fixed assets, prepayments, and accruals.

6. Support Procurement to verify purchase orders, invoices, and supporting documents.

7. Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES

-1-2 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience.

-Accounting knowledge is necessary

-Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent LCCI

-Must be able to communicate in English and Mandarin

-Only Local and PR candidates will be considered

-Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (E.g. Excel,Word) is required or xero software

-Able to work independently on operational tasks while supporting team objectives.
