Tester, TOSCA (App Engineer, NCS Q)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester (TOSCA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in exploratory testing and regression testing, with a strong background in using Tosca. Additional experience with Qtest, Applitools, and web penetration testing is highly desirable. Certification as a software testing professional will be considered an added advantage.

The project will require working in office at NCS hub from Mon-Fri.

What will you do 

• Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues and ensure software quality.
• Perform regression testing to verify that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Utilize Tosca for automated testing and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and develop effective test plans.
• Create, execute, and generate Test Case Scenarios for automation and manual testing.
• Execute test cases, document results, and report defects using Qtest.
• Implement visual testing using Applitools to ensure UI consistency across different platforms.
• Conduct web penetration testing to identify security vulnerabilities and ensure application security.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk analysis activities.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

The ideal candidate should possess: 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in exploratory testing and regression testing.
• Certification as a software testing professional and / or Certified Software Qualty Analyst (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
• Experience with Robot Framework, SikuliX, Selenium, playwright, Micro Focus Testing Tools (Mobile Center, UFT, QC and Sprinter) or EggPlant will be an added advantage
• Experience in agile development environment will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in using Tosca for automated testing with following certifications minimally:
• Automation Specialist – Level 1
• Automation Specialist – Level 2
• Test Design Specialist – Level 1
• Test Design Specialist – Level 2
• Experience with Qtest and Applitools.
• Knowledge of web penetration testing techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Good to have: 

• Experience with other testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQLs.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
