Job Description

  • Participating in the planning, design, and execution of printer-oriented tests.
  • Execute test plans using automated testing toolsets and perform manual test execution when required.
  • Test and validate print and multifunction products, associated workflows, and related software solutions.
  • Work with enterprise networking environments, including network security, certificates, and encryption methods.
  • Utilize Windows operating systems (and limited Linux) to support test activities.
  • Operate PC and server hardware, VMware environments, and server-based applications and databases.
  • Test secure print and capture workflows on printer-embedded solutions.
  • Follow and apply the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) throughout the testing process.
  • Participate in defect lifecycle management, including defect logging, tracking, and validation.
  • Characterize issues clearly and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
  • Analyze and evaluate large-scale test data to identify trends, patterns, and product behaviors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant studies
  • Proven testing experience, including test scheduling/estimations, execution, analysis, defect characterization, reporting, data compilation, and exploratory/ad-hoc testing.
  • Knowledge of SMB printers and multifunction devices, their workflows, and related software.
  • Functional understanding of enterprise networking and ability to troubleshoot common networking issues.
  • Familiarity with SMB networked environments, configurations, and operational workflows.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets to identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Strong skills in defect characterization and writing clear, concise defect reports.
  • Ability to physically set up, manage and organize test lab equipment.
  • Having a knowledge in Python will be advantageous.
