Responsibilities

Project Support

• Work closely with SMEs and Business Analyst to understand business requirements
• Create test scenarios, test cases, and test data
• Ensure test cases are manually executed in accordance to priority assigned
• Conduct functional testing and system integration testing
• Document all test results for verification
• Initial investigation and verification of error against the business requirements
• Log testing defects for errors encountered during test execution
• Provide clarifications to the developer and stakeholders on the logged error
• Support Business Analyst to track and report testing progress and defects resolution progress
• Re-test fixed defects to ensure proper closure

System Administration

• Perform regular system updates as assigned by stakeholders to ensure systems are running on the latest settings, thresholds and rules
• Maintain accurate records of system changes, updates, and incidents for auditing and compliance purposes

Ad-Hoc Activities

• Undertake ad-hoc tasks and activities as assigned by managers. Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to take on diverse responsibilities as needed
• Provide general administrative support, such as assisting managers with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and taking meeting notes

Criteria:

• Minimum one year experience as manual tester
• Preferably to have some exposure/experience in Insurance Industry
• (Optional) advantage with following experience:
• Experience with JIRA for defect-related functions.
• Experience in AML (Anti Money Laundering) or similar Compliance systems domain area
