The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Test Manager who is also a hands-on Test Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and resilience of our cybersecurity solutions and integrated offerings. You will lead our testing efforts while also actively contributing to the design, development, and execution of test strategies and test cases. This is a unique opportunity to shape the quality assurance process in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and Manage Testing Activities: Define test strategy, plan test cycles, allocate resources, and oversee the execution of all testing activities for both in-house developed solutions and integrated vendor products.
• Hands-on Test Engineering: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases covering functional, integration, system, performance, security, and usability testing.
• Security Focus: Apply a strong cybersecurity mindset to all testing activities, ensuring solutions effectively mitigate potential vulnerabilities and adhere to security best practices.
• Automation Advocate: Identify opportunities for test automation and lead the development and implementation of automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Collaboration Champion: Work closely with development, product management, and security teams, including clients, to understand requirements, provide timely feedback, and ensure a high-quality product.
• Defect Management: Manage the defect lifecycle, including identification, logging, tracking, and verification.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare clear and concise test reports, analyse test results, and provide valuable insights into the quality of the solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and cybersecurity trends, and drive continuous improvement within the QA process.
• Vendor Integration Testing: Develop and execute test strategies specifically for ensuring seamless integration and interoperability between our in-house solutions and various vendor cybersecurity products.
• Mentorship (as needed): Provide guidance and mentorship to other QA team members as the team grows.

Requirements:

• At least 12 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience, at least 8 years, in software testing, with a significant portion in a lead or management role.
• Strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing various types of tests (functional, integration, system, performance, security).
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10), and security testing methodologies.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating testing into the development process.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Experience testing integrated systems and third-party vendor products is highly desirable.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
