Test Manager (12 Months Contract)

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager (Banking/Finance). In this role, you will own the end-to-end test management approach across waves (SIT/UAT as applicable), ensuring test readiness, disciplined execution, transparent defect management, and evidence-based test exit recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end test management approach across waves, including SIT/UAT, ensuring test readiness, disciplined execution, and evidence-based test exit recommendations.
• Define and maintain the test strategy and wave-level approach, covering scope, cycles, environments, data, and entry/exit criteria.
• Develop wave test plans and coordinate execution with value stream Tech Leads and test teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Establish and oversee defect triage processes, including severity modeling, prioritization, ageing controls, and retest discipline to manage defect lifecycle effectively.
• Monitor test environment and data readiness, provide test reporting and go/no-go inputs, and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, templates, and automation initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Over 3 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in test management for large-scale integration and migration programs.
• Strong defect management skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with stakeholders across multiple teams.
• Familiarity with test tooling such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), ALM, and qTest to support test execution and defect tracking.
• Experience in reporting automation to streamline test progress updates and defect analysis.
