COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Responsible for performing computer hardware and software maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support WOA Validation Engineering team for testing and validation
- Perform basic computer setup and maintenance, including computer disassembly and assembly, WOA installation and driver installation/upgrade, BIOS flash/upgrade
- Run testing and perform issue troubleshooting and reporting
- Conduct reported issue reproduction and validation, collect and analyse test logs, generic triage & debug
- Complete all test requests on time and communicate revised schedules as necessary
- Utilize software tools such as bug tracking tools, databases, and others as required
- Submit bugs into tracking tools and accurately classify severity levels
- Perform ad-hoc testing on new software and firmware components and assist in developing test plans
- Understand/modify/develop and execute simple scripts using Python or other programming languages
- Provide periodic updates and feedback testing status or improvements proposal to test plans
- Work on multiple projects or tasks and complete them on schedule
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years of working experience with Windows on Arm (WoA)
- Knowledge of PC hardware and software
- Knowledge of Windows OS and driver installation, bios upgrade, testing and troubleshooting
- Attitude to take initiative, learn, and grow
- Ability to work independently with minimal instructions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
