Job Summary
You will lead end-to-end testing activities for an integrated epayment system, driving test automation and quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle to ensure robust, secure, and efficient system delivery.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute comprehensive testing activities for an integrated epayment system, ensuring alignment with business and system requirements
- Analyze requirements to design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and procedures
- Prepare and maintain test environments to support effective testing operations
- Develop and implement automated test solutions using scripting or programming languages to enhance test efficiency and coverage
- Create traceability matrices to map test cases to requirements, identify gaps, and address them proactively
- Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes
- Conduct test reviews with internal and external teams to validate test coverage and results
- Perform root cause analysis on production and user acceptance defects to improve testing processes and prevent recurrence
- Develop clear design documents and user manuals to guide testers and stakeholders in using test automation solutions
- Implement and maintain automated testing pipelines within DevSecOps frameworks to integrate functional, performance, and basic security testing throughout the development lifecycle
Required competencies and certifications
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience executing testing and developing test automation solutions for device-based (UI or embedded) and/or back-office systems, covering the full system development lifecycle
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively within teams and independently
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Certification in software testing
- Experience with Micro-payments or Automatic Fare Collection systems using Smart Cards, including System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Performance Testing
- Familiarity with DevSecOps tools such as Confluence, Jira, Xray, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms with security plugin integration
- Experience in API security testing automation and microservices security validation

- Working Location Arrangement: The working location shall be at either the Authority's Bedok Campus or Site Office (Kim Chuan Depot).
