Test Engineer Lead

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The candidate will be the Test Lead for Corporate Actions project and responsible for test strategy & planning, automation, NFR and end-to-end testing delivery ownership.

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

Functional / Technical

. Lead and mentor testing teams for functional testing, regression, automation, NFR for large projects in the Private banking domain.

. Test planning and execution including the test design, data management, environment planning, automation, non-functional testing, regression, defect management and test closure

. Review and analyse Business requirements and system specifications to define test approach, scope and test plan.

. Work collaboratively with various team to achieve goals.

. Status reporting and able to drive the defect management across multiple teams.

. Proactively raise issues, risks and recommend optimal solutions.

. Work with the BA and Dev teams to drive even the upstream software quality (Requirements, Development Solutions)

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Professional and Technical

Technical andFunctional

• Minimum 12+ years of experience in test lead role, preferably with Private Banking and Corporate Actions
• Good knowledge of Securities, Corporate Actions, Accounting, Pricing domains in Private Banking
• Excellent knowledge of T24 modules for these domains
• Strong functional knowledge of Corporate Actions processes including mandatory/optional events, Ex. spin-offs, mergers, dividends, and corporate reorganisations.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in SWIFT messaging standards for Corporate Actions, including interpretation and validation of MT 564, MT 566, MT 568
• Expertise in working on Agile methodologies such as Scrum / Kanban / SAFE
• Good know how of JAVA and experience in Automation, DevOps is an advantage

. Understanding of Automation tools (Selenium) and DevOps concepts to drive Automation in projects.

. Agile planning tools - JIRA, Confluence
