Gateway Search is proud to partner with one of the leading R&D and manufacturers of automation technology to bring on board Test Engineer.
In this role,
- Manage the R&D test laboratory and implement testing techniques and standard operating procedures in the laboratory
- Manage, coordinate, perform evaluation tests on industrial sensors and document the results based on regulatory requirements. Tests include functional, EMC, reliability, mechanical, optical, etc. on device and system level
- Oversee day to day operations such as carry out and schedule tests, plan testing capacities, issue test reports, schedule calibration and maintenance of lab equipment and R&D test equipment
- Liaise with Headquarter for technical support and technology transfer
- Lead all improvement activities on test procedure, test setup and test documentation
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to sustain product lifecycle including customer complaints, components obsolescence, failure analysis, etc.
To be successful in this role,
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Mechatronic, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in testing of electronic products
- Experience on project planning and coordination
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
