Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases based on functional and technical requirements
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Execute API testing using tools such as Postman
• Design and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Perform performance testing using JMeter
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with business stakeholders
• Track, report, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or similar
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and project managers to ensure quality deliverables
• Ensure compliance with SDLC processes and quality standards

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
• Strong experience in test planning and test case design
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman
• Experience in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Experience using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
