Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing and data analysis independently.
  • Working with Product team in the early phases of development and performing exploratory testing.
  • Handle equipment calibrations including verifications
  • Manage test schedule between multiple projects including conflict management
  • Perform EMC testing per the requirements detailed in National and international regulatory standards and test procedures in a laboratory environment.
  • Propose training needs, new Standard upgrades to equipment
  • Liaise with headquarter for technical support and technology transfer
  • Build productive internal/external working relationships
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirement, maintain accurate records and documentation of test result and equipment maintenance.
  • Reviewing and challenging test system requirement for scope, risk and suitability.
  • Support regulatory activities such as accreditation audit.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a R&D development / Testing role.
  • Foundational understanding of Sensor technologies and their application.
  • Prior exposure / knowledge in an electronics laboratory environment.
  • Awareness of various IEC/ISO standards, particularly on IEC 60947 is desirable.
  • Good understanding in the concept of measurement uncertainty.
  • Experienced in ensuring test system reliability and repeatability through the implementation of intermediate test cases.
  • Good experience in handling various test equipment, lab management system according to ISO/IEC17025 standards.
  • Proven hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, and signal generators.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with good technical report writing skills.
  • Skilled in operating basic laboratory tools, including multimeters, power supplies, soldering stations, and other standard test equipment.
  • Be responsible and take ownership on assigned tasks.
  • Growth mindset to acquire new technical competencies.
  • Collaborate effectively and promoting knowledge and skills sharing.
