Role Overview
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Performance Test Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves planning, scripting, and executing performance tests using Tricentis NeoLoad or equivalent performance testing tools. The ideal candidate will analyze system behavior under load, identify performance bottlenecks, and work closely with global teams to ensure timely resolution of performance-related issues. The role also provides an opportunity to contribute to performance quality and scaling systems in an evolving tech landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Testing: Plan, script, and execute performance tests using Tricentis NeoLoad or similar tools to assess system performance under load.
- Analyze System Performance: Identify bottlenecks, performance degradations, and capacity constraints from test results and performance metrics.
- Collaboration with Test Teams: Coordinate with functional testing teams to ensure adequate test coverage and alignment with project timelines.
- Global Coordination: Work with the offshore Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE), ensuring timely triaging and resolution of performance-related issues.
- Results and Recommendations: Deliver detailed performance test results, dashboards, and recommendations to aid in decision-making and system optimization.
- Agile Work Environment: Adapt to shifting priorities and tight deadlines while working in an agile, collaborative environment.
Key Requirements:
- Experience with Performance Testing Tools: Proven hands-on experience with Tricentis NeoLoad or equivalent performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
- Analytical and Troubleshooting Skills: Strong ability to analyze performance metrics and identify tuning strategies to enhance system efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with global teams, including remote and offshore resources.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
- Adaptability: A proactive, self-motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Exposure to performance testing in cloud-based environments.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
