We are looking for a Quality Automation Engineer ( Playwright) to join one of our government clients, and your scope covers the following areas ( not limited to)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright or similar test automation frameworks.
- Lead end-to-end testing activities for complex, distributed applications.
- Define QA strategy, testing standards, and best practices for the engineering team.
- Perform debugging and root cause analysis, working closely with developers to ensure rapid issue resolution.
- Build and integrate automated test pipelines within CI/CD environments.
- Ensure test coverage, reliability, and consistency across releases.
- Communicate test results, risks, and quality metrics clearly to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Playwright or equivalent automation frameworks.
- Solid background in software quality assurance, test automation, and QA strategy at a senior or lead level.
- Proven hands-on experience in end-to-end testing for complex applications.
- Proficiency in debugging, log analysis, and identifying root causes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable automation architecture.
- If you have working experience in the government sector, it would be highly desirable.
