Test Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support automation initiatives for enterprise-scale systems within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be involved in developing, maintaining, and executing automated test suites while contributing to continuous improvement in test automation practices.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Execution

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Tosca, Playwright, JavaScript, and API automation frameworks
• Support automation frameworks, regression execution, and automation enablement initiatives
• Build, maintain, and execute automated regression test suites

Analysis & Test Design

• Review existing automation landscape including tools, scripts, and coverage
• Analyze business and technical requirements
• Identify test scenarios, test scripts, and required test data for automation

Test Data & Execution

• Create, manage, and obtain test data in coordination with stakeholders
• Execute automated and manual test scripts where required
• Log, track, and retest defects through to closure

Collaboration & Improvement

• Work across multiple tools and systems depending on project requirements
• Support integration or enhancement of AI-assisted testing or productivity tools
• Participate in process improvements and automation efficiency initiatives
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and team capability uplift

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in test automation
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Tosca / Playwright / JavaScript / API testing
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale or complex systems
• Familiarity with multiple automation tools and flexible environments
• Strong understanding of test lifecycle, regression testing, and defect management
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• Experience leveraging automation accelerators or reusable assets
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools
• Ability to recommend and implement best practices in test automation
• Experience in process improvement initiatives
