Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive test scenarios, translating them into advanced JBehaves.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to review test scenarios, ensuring completeness and implementing meta-tagging for reusability.
- Utilize JIRA, BDD, and Zephyr to manage testing processes effectively.
- Execute test artifacts and upload results into appropriate systems.
- Perform defect management, including retesting and conducting thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Prepare detailed test data requirements and contribute to daily test management reports.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups.
- Monitor and track system downtime, maintaining regression test packs.
- Develop training materials and provide support during live implementation phases.
- Conduct live verifications during project launches and address post-implementation issues.
- Collaborate with teams in Hong Kong and Taiwan, including discussions requiring Chinese (traditional & simplified).
- Experience in database and Java library management.
- Exposure to automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Playwright is a plus.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Demonstrated experience as a Test Analyst or in a similar role within banking or financial services.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese (traditional & simplified)-minimum GCE O-Level grade A1 (or equivalent) in Chinese-to effectively collaborate with Mandarin-speaking teams in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, defect management practices, and agile frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, BDD, Zephyr, and familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Playwright is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with good communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and regional teams in dynamic environments.
