Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage system testing activities for hardware devices, peripherals, and supporting software.
  • Develop and review test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications.
  • Conduct and oversee functional, regression, compatibility, and integration testing across different platforms (e.g., PC and console environments).
  • Perform system benchmarking, performance validation, and stress testing using diagnostic and benchmarking tools.
  • Utilize benchmarking and monitoring tools (e.g., PassMark, PCMark, 3DMark or similar system testing tools) to evaluate system performance and stability.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, performance issues, and system inconsistencies using defect tracking systems.
  • Work closely with engineering, firmware, and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Provide test reports, quality metrics, and release readiness assessments.
  • Mentor and guide QA testers and interns.
  • Improve testing processes, methodologies, and QA standards within the team.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in system testing, QA testing, or hardware/software validation.
  • Experience leading or coordinating QA testing teams.
  • Familiarity with system benchmarking and performance testing tools.
  • Experience testing hardware devices or gaming peripherals (controllers, keyboards, mice, headsets, etc.).
  • Knowledge of firmware validation, driver testing, and hardware compatibility testing.
  • Experience working with PC systems, device validation environments, and performance benchmarking tools.
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
