Job Summary
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will develop and execute sales plans for named key accounts, manage client relationships, and maintain detailed account profiles. Knowledge of Enterprise Building, Data Centre Solutions, and Network Connectivity Solutions is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Set and communicate sales targets to drive long-term incremental growth within named key user accounts
- Develop and execute evidence-based sales plans to achieve annual sales targets
- Establish and nurture strong, mutually beneficial relationships with top named key account clients
- Conduct on-site sales presentations to understand customer practices and propose tailored solutions using company products
- Resolve client concerns promptly and amicably to maintain customer satisfaction
- Maintain detailed and accurate records on key accounts for effective account management
- Present comprehensive sales and account reports to the director of sales and relevant stakeholders as required
- Conduct regular market research to update knowledge of customer needs and competitor activities
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields is recommended
- Experience in structured cabling systems, enterprise network connectivity, and Data Centre solutions is an advantage
- Strong consultative selling skills and ability to develop solution proposals based on customer requirements
- Demonstrable hunter sales experience with a proven history of meeting sales targets
- Proficiency in customer relationship management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong vertical and lateral thinking abilities
- Ability to build and sustain long-lasting professional relationships
