Job Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive tender submissions, including BoQ reviews, quantity checks, preliminary cost estimates, pricing documentation, and tender assumptions.
- Source and engage suitable subcontractors and suppliers, issue tender enquiries, obtain quotations, and clarify technical requirements.
- Evaluate and compare quotations, conduct commercial analysis, and recommend value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage tender queries, addenda, RFIs, and clarifications while ensuring submissions comply with client and project requirements.
- Support post-tender negotiations and successful project handover, maintaining accurate estimating documentation in accordance with company procedures.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in tendering, estimating, orquantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Strong skills in quantity measurement, cost estimation, tender preparation, subcontractor/supplier evaluation, and commercial analysis.
- Detail-oriented and commercially aware, with strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills able to work effectively under tender deadlines.
